How convenient! I'd been looking for something like this.

Anyways, hi, y'all! I'm Becky. I'm a college student in Boston, and I've been writing since I was a brat. I get whatever workshop experience I can: I was a creative writing major at an arts high school, I attended the Sewanee Young Writers' Conference in 2004, and I current double-major in Creative Writing and East Asian Studies in school. But I've found with workshops that people can often be a bit competitive, and... well, pretentious. It's hard to just discuss ideas and talk about writing with my classmates. So that's why I joined this site!

As for my own stuff, I write both fiction and poetry, but I definitely write more fiction. I wrote a multi-chaptered mystery story my senior year of high school, and I'm currently working on two projects. I dabble in all sorts of genres, but I'm definitely not good at romance!

Okay, this is turning into an essay. I can't wait to get started here!
