This talented man has the most intense and brutal style I've ever seen. Check out http://ravenjake.com and browse around. There's a little something for everyone I think. For those who like violent, abstract and immensely entertaining fiction, take a look at his short story "Time Lapse". For those who are more into fantasy and sci-fi, "From the Sky" is his serialized short story that he adds to every couple weeks; very amusing and creative. For everyone though, I recommend you pick up his novel, Messiah of the Fallen Earth, for cheap through his site. It's on presale now, so he's got a good price on it, and a special edition package which include some really amazing material. This stuff is just plain amazing. Being one of few who've gotten to read it before its release, I can safely say it's one of the most tremendous pieces of literature I've picked up in my life, and I'm a total book nerd, so that's truly saying a lot. Anyway, I hope some of you are able to take at least a quick look and judge for yourself.

He's certainly brutal. I only clicked the link out of curiousity and he hurt my eyes.

What is it? A self-published novel?

You've never picked up Tolstoy or Dickens or Cervantes or Flaubert or Dostoevsky or Forster or Joyce or Hemingway or Dan Brown, have you?

I've taken a look, reading the first chapter of the novel you mentioned above. It's dull stuff; really dull.
