Has anyone read this book? I was told that it was great so I read it and it's now one of my favorites. It has everything: love, family, understanding, history, action. It's a good book lol.

I was just at the library today, looking at a list of good non-fiction books, and I remember seeing it listed, but have never read it. Maybe I'll go check it out next time. I'm always looking for something good to read.

I Just read it also, and it is a good read. It wasn't really what I normally like, since I'm more into fantasy fiction, but I'd probably read it again anyway.

Actually I picked it up, read the first page or so, and put it back down. Then I came back a week later and read it in 2 days. I learned me a lesson that day.

What? Never judge a book by its first few pages? XD That's a lesson I learned in 6th grade with the first Harry Potter book.... o_o some books have very drab beginnings....

Yes...but it's better to have a bad beginning and a great finish than to have a great beginning and a horrible finish. I always get so mad, like, I just spent time reading this and now it's horrible! lol

Hmm...Harry Potter...never did pick that one up. Maybe...

Yeah lol That also. It sucks when that happens! OH, I highly suggest it. The beginning sucks though, but it is mostly just that's it's boring as hell, but gets better.

I *just* finished The Secret Life of Bees. It's a good read - and the characters' oddities are so compelling! Definitely something I'll pick up again at a later date.
