In order to perfect a character I'm working on, I'm going to start reading some novels with head-strong, rebellious women as the main characters. Any ideas come to mind?

Are you sure that's the best way to get to know your character? You'll just end up with a cliche composite of everyone else's 2-D warrior women. Let her be herself.

Thanks BlackWolf.

I'm not planning on copying any characters. Heaven forbid. I just like reading things in the same vein as what I'm writing, to get me in the mood, to get me started, to get the juices flowing--whatever you want to call it.

Plus I just like to read.
