Hi, I was wondering if there are any readers of Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey/Maturin series here? If so, have any of you read the last one ("The last unfinished voyage of Jack Aubrey"- it's the one he was working on when he died)?

I was thinking of getting it for my dad for his birthday (it's the only one he hasn't got), but I read somewhere its only very short- like three chapters. Is it worth getting, do you think?

Well....thanks for all the advice:p

In case anyone cares I got it for my Dad, and it seems good. It gives you it both in handwritten form, and what he'd typed up; but the handwritten parts include more, so you have to decipher his handwriting to get the whole thing:p

On another note, Patrick O'brian has very bad handwriting....but then, mine is worse, so I probably shouldnt be judging
