It's called "Nervous System: or Losing My Mind in Literature".
The author, Jan Lars Jensen, details his descent into psychosis after the completion and acceptance of his first novel... "Shiva 3000".
A very interesting (and importantly: not overly bloated) piece of work.
I would also like to recommend anything and everything by Canadian author, Timothy Findley. Especially "Headhunter", which is sort of a retelling of Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" and Not Wanted On The Voyage" ... Findley's own take on Noah and the flood.
