Well, I read this book a few days ago...it was pretty good. Some horror/thriller genre. It's by Blake Crouch, and it's a sequel to the first novel of his, Dessert Places.

Not particularly original, but it keeps going (the horror) when most would expect it to stop with a happy ending.
