Life in the Key of A

smells in colours
still undiscovered,
as a starfish reigns
deity in a bathtub

round and round
with perfect pi
and irrational phi

rock people hold court
on a grey shingle shore
to greet the ambassador

the rabbit cast of glass
hunted by a socks fox
who holds a map of stars

who reigns above
a lobster boil sea
clear and sharp

tinted in twilight
of musty lavender

in each fidget
endless refrain
on eternity’s loop

this is the song that plays
this life in the key of A

Your first line is sublime, DarKKin..."Smells in colors"... I get that ;) this is a lovely poem and I was quite happy to hear from "the Star Sox Fox" and the "Glass Rabbit"... 2 of my favorite characters from your "StrangeWays collection...I am loving the addition of the bath tub starfish....
7th stanza, I loved that you used the word "fidget"... I think you could use that as a name for a new StrangeWays Dweller... a little girl named "Fidget"... ;)
