So, yes, I'm new. I'm fourteen; planning on being a writer when I grow up. I was scanning Google for writing sites to perk my writing.. senses? When I came across this. Freshmen language arts doesn't quite do it for me. I'm mostly into short stories, but I want to get better at poetry. I think that to be a good writer, you need to be a good poet. Then when you write it flows- like poetry. They're like peanut butter and jelly. They work.

So, yea. Welcome me. It's nice to do that stuff. : D

Hi there, Teapot, and welcome! I don't quite agree that you have to be a poet to be a writer - I am not good at poetry but think I can write a good piece.

Yea, it's just kind of the kind of writer I want to be.
Poetic. It makes thing seem more real to me.
