Tamara and I'm a natural critic. Finally decided to stop apologizing for it and simply embrace that aspect of my nature. Now, if I could only use my powers for good instead of evil.

Seriously, I'm a decent writer, but I spot errors with uncanny ease. They just seem to jump off the page and announce themselves, even when I'm not looking for them. Like today, I pointed out all the mistakes in a manager's email to a coworker. The coworker didn't see the problems and thought I was just weird. Maybe I am. \\:D/

I would like to turn this ability in to a paying gig, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I have the ubiquitous Liberal Arts Degree, but it hasn't been much of a selling point thus far. The problem is, my work history is decidedly un-literary and it's impossible to get would-be employers to look past that.

So, any career changers out there? I would like to become a copy editor, and need to know how to get there from here. BTW, I'm not good at "selling myself" so freelance would be mighty difficult.

Hit me with your best shot.
