Title: “Gnomes of the Kalahari”,

Genre: Young Adult Fiction.

Words: 31’600 (113 B5 pages)

Timeline: A month to Return (Expected that it should be a week to read)

Summary:
There is a clan of small primitive but passionate people struggling to survive in the harshest of Sub-Sahara Africa using well tested techniques of the San and Batswana. These are gnomes living in the Kalahari Desert.

The book opens with Murr standing dawn guard on their Clan’s home, watching for ever present danger of the Kalahari Desert when a movement catches his eye. That movement is of his best friend Gnu-nu, a younger more daring gnome, trying a new technique that he has thought up, and hiding in mud of their waterhole to ambush a Guinea-fowl coming for its first drink of the day. The snatch starts badly and ends spectacularly, and humorously, as his hard won prize is snatched from him by an eagle.

The book further defines the energy of the short, fast and agile gnomes as they go through many adventures unique to surviving in the Kalahari Desert, fighting snakes, wild food, Honey-badgers, earth-maygic, traditional medicine around deep bonds of friendship.

Audience:
Young teens who are interested in Africa and the wilderness of the Kalahari. Adventure seekers would be drawn to the details of survival in a very harsh environments where the San still wander.

Available:
PDF or MS Word.

It has some pictures that were created for writer definition. They will be redone by a professional.
