I was delighted to hear on EFL on Quest that the Coventry City striker "dissected" two Middlesborough defenders. And I thought they were trying to reduce violence in football.

He shot the ball between them to score. I think he meant bisect.

I think he meant "Nutmeged."

For years, some media types have taken to saying that something is in "unchartered waters". I sigh. If they're going to lean on a cliche, they could AT LEAST not bungle the cliche.

I've heard "uncharted waters" many times, but never "unchartered waters." Maybe you just hang out around too many British people? They do seem to overuse their Rs. 😆

Sadly, it's been a thing for quite a few years now. I cringe every time. Maybe I'm just not familiar with water that stays rented out most of the time.
