I'd like to read something of David Foster Wallace's. Any recommendations of which book of his to start with, or which one is your favorite? I'm drawn to Infinite Jest, but it's so HUGE, I'm not sure if it's the best one to start out with.

Those of you who have read him: Opinions?

David Foster Wallace is great! I've read Infinite Jest and parts of Girl with Curious Hair (I really liked the story called "Little Expressionless Animals") Also Brief interviews with Hideous Men looks interesting.

But I think that Infinite Jest is probably the way to go. It can almost be read as just a bunch of short stories that are interrelated in terms of characters and a very very loose main plot.
