We met at a crossroads,
our own distinct turns,
But the pathway happened to be the same.
So many things came along with the path,
the landscapes, the co-walkers,
and the stumbling blocks.
The lovely thing about it,
we didn't need to explain anything,
just felt and understood each other,
lived the path altogether,
till we both reached another crossroads
for our distinct turns.

Hello,

I think this is a lovely piece, I like how naturally it reads, by not striving to make it sound overly poetic you make it real and with that the reader really feels what the speaker does. I’ve made a few suggestions but not many.

Cheers

Syd
