I've recently gone down a rabbit-hole of researching the blockchain, nft's (non-fungible tokens), and the possibilities they hold beyond crypto currency and digital artworks. These are very well things that, when fully realized, will have far reaching effects and hold the power to change the world much in the same way the internet did in the 80's and 90's. And book publishing, either through traditional publishers or by authors themselves (where I believe the most potential is), will be one that could be totally transformed into something revolutionary.

Here are some interesting links that lay out how blockchain book publishing may look and how it works as well as some examples of it already in use.

I would enjoy hearing others thoughts on this. Maybe we can have a discussion on the good, the bad, and ideas on how it could be utilized and further innovated by individuals, communities, and businesses. Is it something you would like to explore? Do you think it is the future of publishing? What links and information have you found that you can share with the rest of us?
