I think I was 15 or 16 when I first read The Catcher in the Rye. What gets me the most is the symbolism - the question about the ducks at the pond during winter; keeping the pieces of the broken record; wearing his red hunting hat backwards... I could go on, but then I'd start ramblin'!

What images/messages in the book stick with you the most?
