Writing a Believable and Brutal Male vs. Female Fight Scene

For a brutal fight, male against female, let's take Natasha Kerensky of the Black Widows

and her arch foe The Bounty Hunter

and drop them in the cockpits of 80 ton Awesome 8Q assault mechs

armed with three PPCs and a battlefist. Let them duke it out in the arenas of Solaris VII and watch the carnage!

I'm too old to know what any of that means.

BUT - I did see Marsha Hall (a world champion Taekwondoist) knock out Victor Tapson (a ranked US tournament fighter) one night after class. Victor thought they were just playing light touch contact... Marsha had different ideas.

Google 'Marsha Hall Taekwondo' for more information her, I can't find anything on like about Victor.

One of the longest (and weirdest) fights I ever wrote ran two or three pages.

It ran those two or three pages because a fair bit entailed two temporarily disarmed and slightly mismatched combatants keeping an eye on each other, improvising weaponry, and hunting an advantage. The aggressor wasn't going to walk away and the defender couldn't. Nobody got away without getting hit, and the conclusion entailed a microwave oven repurposed as a blunt object.

It was absurd and more amusing than it probably should have been. I may revisit it one day.

In the first chapter of my WIP I have a fight scene go on for almost 600 words (16 paragraphs).
