My friend had nothing but problems with editors. He couldn't find an editor and was forced to release his first book half edited and then finally got it a good editor only for sadly that editor ended up passing away when failing to tell his doctor about pain in his adamant, and is now forced to go look for a new editor again.

I've had good luck with Reedsy - they have a lot of freelancers in all kinds of things - I found my cover designer there.
