    How to register on Writingforums.com

So, you have decided to join our forum, that pleases us and we welcome you. This small manual is written to guide you through the registration process:

On the top of the page, to the right, you find the Registration button:

Click it, and you will find yourself on the Registration Page, where you are asked to fill in the necessary details to become part of our community:

If you are registering because you wish to advertise, please follow the instructions below:

If you wish to register as a new member, enter your birth date, and press Proceed:

Now you are guided to the page where you have to enter the necessary details for your new WF account. When choosing a username, be aware of the fact that we do not change usernames if you don't like the one you chose. So think about a decent username before you enter it:

Below this, a few extra questions are asked. The timezone is of importance here. Choose your own timezone, and do not choose a random one. Because if you do, the forum will display in a wrong day and time for you,

Last but not least, tick the box that you have read and accepted the forum rules, and click Complete Registration

This ends the first step in the Registration Process. Now all you need to do is wait for an email, sent to the email address you entered on the form.

This is the first part of the registration email. Inside is a link. If you click on it, you will be sent to the forum, where a welcome message awaits you:

Sometimes the link in the email doesn't work, in the email, at the bottom, are instructions what to do if that happens to you:

Upon clicking the link in the email message, you get to see this welcome message. Click on the word Profile.

Immediately a pop-up screen pops up:

If your browser prevents pop-ups to display, don't worry. You can find the message In the top right of your screen:

    Notifications > click Inbox.
In your Inbox you will find a Welcome Message by PiP. Open it, and read.

Congratulations, you are now a member of our Writingforums community. We hope you enjoy your stay, and we are looking forward to see you post and comment.

    On behalf of Writingforums,
    Darren White.
