Dropped a bomb on a small town

Hello! My names Clay and I write for the Vandalialeader.com.
Seems I ruffled some feathers and now can't get interviews.
I consider myself a writer, not a journalist, so what's out there for my style of writing.
    Just curious. Thanks

    Hi Clay. Welcome aboard.

We have a flash fiction contest with a small prize going on. This week's prompt is "famous" (to be interpreted how you wish) and it ends very late tomorrow night.Details are here. Just if you're interested.

Vandalia is a city in Illinois so I assume it's a local newspaper there.

Good question, other than not being a journalist who writes for a probably-newspaper, what else can we know about your style of writing? Are you saying you write opinion pieces or you'd rather write short stories or...?

"Dropped a Bomb in a Small Town" would be a good prompt.
We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.
