is there and easy way to turn it off. It's cluttering my mailbox. The sad thing about this notification is that it doesn't include the comment that follows the quote. So you end up with a worthless notification in you mailbox. If post something I expect response, so I check the thread. So what is the real need to be notified, unless someone comment 3 weeks later. because then you are not checking for notes on the post. But when something is old to comment on it brings the thread forward on the boards. So anyone that going to the boards is going to see their posts.

It seems kind of redundant as a process. What is the worry about someone quoting you. Personally I wouldn't say anything on a thread that wouldn't be said elsewhere. I need mine to be turned off. A real connection that came with the quote would be nice. The in two clicks you could turn the blame thing off. One to go to the side and one to click a box to stop sending quotes. Or if you want more choices have a series of boxes to check for different period of time or the number to be allowed before closing it down.

Yes, it offers you the option to click here with a link which takes you back to the thread and further replies. The PM also includes instructions how to disable or change notifications
You can disable or change the notifications in your usercp ==> UserCP > General Settings > under Messaging & Notification > Quote Notification.
