I threw a glance at humankind and saw them treacherous and feeble.
Severe judges, cruel, unkind and fools who are always close to evil.
Before their frightful, anxious mob, indifferent hate forever rages.

Beauty is nothing but the beginning of terror which we are barely able to endure, and are awed,
because it serenely disdains to annihilate us.

Congrats J.T. Chris! I really enjoyed you story! Although I voted for "Smog Gorgeous" by Ma'am (continuing my tradition of voting for dysfunctional relationships) yours was a close second!

Also good to see some appreciation for "the fifth amendment".

Well done J.T. Chris. Congratulations! Great story and well written. Thanks Ma'am for giving up your time to host.
The problem with understanding people is: the more you understand, the less you will believe in miracles.

    Congrats J.T.

I voted for Petition: it built the clearest images in my mind, though that might be down to a bit of genre bias, not sure.

Not even heard of the music inspiring the entries, always good to expand horizons. I wrote half a story based on Cash's A Boy Named Sue, but been tight for time lately.
