Yep. I gave this one a solid review too. Couldn't really fault it, though I've not seen the movie. As a friend of mine used to say, bitchin'.
Come away, human child to the waters and the wild

I drink to forget, but I never forget to drink.

Another classic fav of mine is Streets of Fire. The soundtrack featured some great musicians including Ry Cooder, Morris Day, The Fix, and this gem by The Blasters:

What I always thought was interesting about this movie was that EVERYONE in the cast, except the star (Michael Pare) went on to bigger & better things. This movie was a breakout event for most of the cast, who were all unknowns when it released.

Great jams in this flick tho.

Another great soundtrack was Rocky Horror Picture Show. The movie featured some great songs, including Meatloaf, and Susan Sarandon singing in her underwear (mmmm).

Unless you are a virgin, you'll recognize these lips.

I always loved this song (Science Fiction double feature) because of all the references to great scifi flicks from the golden era of cinema. I think I have seen every one of them.

Let's widen it out to include TV themes too. One of the most haunting I've ever heard, captures the feel of the series perfectly. So I'm told.

A couple of forgotten scores by one of my favourite composers, James Horner...

    The Land Before Time

    The Rocketeer

These scores are what really got me into music and writing. They are also among the first scores I remember listening to.

The soundtrack for the anime movie Akira is good. Also like the Fight Club soundtrack.
