    Genre: Alternative - Hang Massive

I recently discovered the handpan/hangpan and subsequently this duo. The first piece I share is called: Hang Massive -The Secret Kissing of the Sun and Moon

The second piece I particularly like as there are no microphones etc.

I think this music is great for meditation or to play while writing poetry.

    Thoughts?

I agree! I love the sound of them. How are you coming with your own adventure? Is it really hard to play?

Yes, it is very hard to play. I need RL lessons, rather than YouTube, so someone can physically instruct me how to strike the notes so they make a sound rather than a dull thud. Unlike the girl in the picture, my legs are too short, and my boobs and stomach are too intrusive for it to rest on my lap. Haha... where there is a will there is a way and hubby built me a stand. I'd post a photo but I'm too embarrassed LoL

When I figure out how to record via my phone (so its audible) I am going to start a progress journal on the music board.

I look forward to that. I would love to learn to play them, too.

The sound is compelling! Hypnotic. It's amazing the rich variety of notes possible from such a simple thing.

It certainly hypnotised me into buying something I'd seen once and never played.
