    The rick roll genre?

    here is an idea, rick roll is a genre of fiction. no literally. I have examples and everything. first a definition. a rick roll is a video where your promised something but given a certain thing {a.k.a a certain music video in this case.] in return. I think though it has formed it's own genre now. what do you think... a couple of examples.1. doki doki literature club{offered a dating sim but given a horror game}

    2. to many cocks{offered a fo eighties sitcom... given a horribly long intro and no show.}

    3. puella magi madoka magica{offered a light hearted slice of life about magical girls but given a messed up show were little girls are being used as a infinite power source via their hopes and dreams being taken after they've given up all hope. it's pretty dark at the end and oh yeah humans are cattle.}p.s. can rick role be considered a genre even if it doesn't go by that name and if so can you think of other media that ids in this non genre, genre?

    Trolling is a way of life now. They should play the rick roll theme song at the end of each of them to make it a real trending theme.

    Bait and switch has been a thing since homo sapiens first crawled from the prehistoric sludge.

    That was on Animal Planet. They pulled it after a bunch of chattering hens threatened a boycott over fowl language.
