Thread: Lazer focus

I don't seem to have that problem at all. I have a story in my mind to write and that's the only one I work on until either it is finished or I've given up on it. Articles, however, are a different story. I can work on articles for the historical society while I'm working on my story no problem. I'm just too focused on the story I'm working on to even think about starting another.
Hidden Content <--Proceed with der clickity.

I'm realizing I should have clarified a bit better.

when working on my current WIP, I was able to write the first four books, but have been going through and adding or editing. I am waiting on an editor, who'll work on it in sept.

right now, i'm jumping back and fourth with stories that are more personal or exercise then anything I plan to publish.

I keep multiple projects going as a way to defeat writer's block.
I always have something to work on.
But there is a structure to my chaos; I'm not just flitting from book to book.
I write until I am blocked on a project, then shift to another.
By the time I am blocked on the 2nd project, I have usually figgered out what I wanna do on the first. Also, I often have to do marketing & publishing in there somewhere too.

Sometimes I take a break from my own work and write blurbs for other authors on IUPH.
Apparently I have a knack for hooks & blurbs...?
Mainly I just don't completely suck at it.
