    Read If You Recall

    Read If You Recall

    Forget
    Don't remember
    Let yourself lose focus
For your own sake, forgive past debts
    Forget
You can never hate something so thoroughly as that which destroys what you love, and who is more guilty of this crime than the stranger who was once a lover?

    Unfelt Fear

    Unfelt Fear

He couldn't outrun old man winter, there was no escaping.
Razor blade, rusted red, tears across a five o'clock shadow.
Fresh blood, running red, from tears in skin sharp and shallow.
He couldn't feel it, but took comfort in the repetitive scraping.
Cold ears, turning blue, frost bite dulls the pain, but not dread.
Pale eyes, robin blue, blink back tears staring straight ahead.
They found him frozen, freshly shaven, mouth gaping.
You can never hate something so thoroughly as that which destroys what you love, and who is more guilty of this crime than the stranger who was once a lover?

How do you learn not to care? Excellent line.
"Illegitimi non carborundum " Vinegar' Joe Stilwell

"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase." Martin Luther King Jr.

What you learn in life is important, those you help learn, are more important.

"They can because they think they can."
    Virgil

"Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools will speak to say something." Plato

"The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible."
     Mark Twain

"To those of you who received honors, awards and distinctions, I say well done. And to the C students, I say you, too, can be president of the United States." George W. Bush

    strange poem, but very original

    It's a frightening poem.
This repetitive action, to conquer a fear that is not consciously felt
