So if you publish print books thru Barnes & Noble, then you will be happy to know that they now offer pre-sale as an option on print books.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Amazon. Amazon print services still do not allow pre-sale for print books, only eBooks (why????)

However, keep in mind that B&N print services are essentially a vanity press because they force you to pay for expanded marketing*, raising your cover price about $5 per copy. So even though they offer this service, I'd personally avoid them or you could wind up being branded vanity press if anyone saw your paperback selling for $21.

*At Amazon print, and CreateSpace, expanded marketing is optional, so you can keep your cover prices reasonable. Avoid the Noid of B&N.
