    Deactivation Blues

    Note: v- is pronounced "vee-dash"

    Deactivation Blues

    Got off the elevator
    Walked onto the ninth floor
    I found my orange badge
No longer opened up the door

    I got deactivation blues
    I got deactivation blues
    I got an orange badge
    And a v- account
    That I canít use

    I canít use the printer
    I canít ship out stuff
    I canít read my email
    And If that ainít enough

    I got deactivation blues
    I got deactivation blues
    I got an orange badge
    And a v- account
    That I canít use

    I cannot schedule meetings
    Or get a WiFi code
I have to take a buddy
When I go to the commode

    I got deactivation blues
    I got deactivation blues
    I got an orange badge
    And a v- account
    That I canít use

So I have to work from home now
What work I can get done
    This life without a v-
    Really is no fun

    I got deactivation blues
    I got deactivation blues
    I got an orange badge
    And a v- account
    That I canít use

I think the AABABC pattern would be best here

    Deactivation Blues

    Verse 1 (C/E,
G, Dm7, Am) // verse one should have a different set of chords because it introduces the feeling XD
    Got off the elevator
    Walked onto the ninth floor
    I found my orange badge
No longer opened up the door

    Verse 2 (C/E, Em, Dm7, Am)
    I can’t use the printer
    I can’t ship out stuff
    I can't read my e-mail // added - to separate the syllable
    And If that ain’t enough

Chorus [x2] (Em, Fmaj7, Dm, Am, Am* [let it ring from the last time played])
    I got deactivation blues
    I got deactivation blues
    I got an orange badge
    And a v- account
    That I can’t use

    Verse
    3 (C/E, Em, Dm7, Am)
    I cannot schedule meetings
    Or get a WiFi code
I have to take a buddy
When I go to the commode

Chorus [x2] (Em, Fmaj7, Dm, Am, Am*)
    I got deactivation blues
    I got deactivation blues
    I got an orange badge
    And a v- account
    That I can’t use

    Bridge / Outro (Am, G, F, Dm)
So I have to work from home now
What work I can get done
(This) life without a v- // i think whose life is a given

    Really is no fun

    (A9...)

/* and yes i completely needed to add those chords to analyze it XD*/
