Forty-Eight Reviewis a literary magazine that strives to feature the works of Asian and Asian-American writers of all ages around the world, telling their stories. We believe in the power of words, and we aim to increase Asian-American representation in media, especially in literature. Our mission is to celebrate the Asian-American experience and Asia’s diversity through literature, and we feature poetry, fiction, and non-fiction on our website. Following our belief that everybody should be able to see themselves as the hero of their own story, we are strong advocates for diversity in fiction and other forms of media. Additionally, our name, Forty-Eight Review, comes from the forty-eight countries that make up Asia.
