    Cool My 1st FAN EMAIL!

    WOW... I just rec'd the following email out of the blue from someone who read my debut book about college teaching tips...

    "I teach mental health nursing. This began a year ago. I like your suggestions. Some of them I already do instinctively, as I have been a student of one kind or another the past 63 years. Thank you for your valuable book!"

    I'm so honored that this reader enjoyed my book and took the time to thank me personally via email. This is my first fan email from a stranger. Best. Feeling. Ever.

    Congratulations! That must feel very gratifying.... writing is a solitary endeavor, and takes a huge commitment in time and hard work, sometimes it feels like a thankless task until something like this happens and someone takes the time to thank you... enjoy it, you earned it, and thank you so much for sharing... it is fabulous to have your hard work recognized ....
