    Then I scrolled up to your photos, do you really play volley ball on skis? I have never tried, but that run looks really tempting, I hope you tried it. The outfit looks a bit like the one I used to wear for mid-winter motorcycling before I got full leathers

    Good to see you are out and about again.

    Liked those verses: the Owl & the Pussycat - only knew the title so far

    May be some play volleyball on ski - I haven't seen it though - but we do saltos - do you do that on moto bikes too ??
    The nets are supposed to lead you into the right boxes for entering the mecanique/lift;
    Yeah, the nets - if you can see them when coming thundering down the mountain.
    There's an entrance for the normal ones/us - and another entrance for the ski school students (mostly children) - the skischool student will then be squeezed in between us, the others who has been waiting patiently.

    Bobo tends to avoid the school holidays - unforetunately in France they have a school vacance every 1 and a 1/2 month - it's the children who's ruling la France
    Yes, thanks, it's also good things are (almost) back to normal - being without a PC is a sheer nightmare for an introvert as bobo
    But we got through it, like we got through everything else
    Just got my little PC back - I see they've put in a new motherboard - good it still was under warranty

    The Day of Battle, by A. E. Housman

    LVI. Far I hear the bugle blow

    Far I hear the bugle blow
    to call me where I would not go,
    and the guns begin the song,
    Soldier, fly or stay for long

    Comrade, if to turn and fly
    made a soldier stay or die,
    fly I would, for who would not?
    'Tis sure no pleasure to be shot.

    But since that man that runs away
    lives to die another day,
    and cowards' funerals, when they come,
    are not wept so well at home,

    therefore, though the best is bad,
    stand and do the best, my lad:
    Stand and fight and see your slain,
    and take the bullet in your brain.

    Evening Star - Poem by Edgar Allan Poe

    'Twas noontide of summer,
    And mid-time of night;
    And stars, in their orbits,
    Shone pale, thro' the light
    Of the brighter, cold moon,
    'Mid planets her slaves,
    Herself in the Heavens,
    Her beam on the waves.
    I gazed awhile
    On her cold smile;
    Too cold- too cold for me-
    There pass'd, as a shroud,
    A fleecy cloud,
    And I turned away to thee,
    Proud Evening Star,
    In thy glory afar,
    And dearer thy beam shall be;
    For joy to my heart
    Is the proud part
    Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
    And more I admire
    Thy distant fire,
    Than that colder, lowly light.

    I'll ALWAYS have a soft spot for Poe. This is a great example why.
    My favorite word in the English language is "shenanigans." My favorite thing to do is cause them.

    Smoke weed everyday.

    Calligraphy, there’s a poem hidden in the robe.

    The Poem is called "Woman of the Firmament" - "إمرأة الكون"

    Poetry by Ahmed Shawqi - شعرأحمد شوقي:
    In Arabic:
    لن تستطيع سنين البعد تمنعنا
    إن القلوب برغم البعد تتصل
    لا القلب ينسى حبيبا كان يعشقه
    ولا النجوم عن الافلاك تنفصل

    Translation/Meaning In English:
    The Years of separation and distance shall not come between us,
    For Hearts remain connected in spite of distance.
    A heart never forgets a beloved whom it longs for,
    Nor do the stars separate from the Universe.
