I don't think you are alone in this, or that there is anything 'wrong' with you, but if you are any sort of an individual it will colour the way you think about aging and dying and put a personal twist on it, that must be true for all of us. How about writing a poem about it? Seems like a good subject to me

    Fire,

When you disappear a sink hole swallows many. I find myself just hanging onto the rim of WF. The fires gone out.

The thought did occur but me? Poetry?
I really wouldn't know where to begin. I don't have the words for that Mr.Buckle.

    Hello Sleeping Beauty
Thank you for all your fine, warm and nice words – they’re most welcomed and appreciated
    Bobo’s just having fun
Hibernate all you can – there’re still some months before springtime for butterflies

Bobo went to another vernissage/private viewing, but couldn’t see much picture because ‘the whole world’ was there with the mayor up front allocating certificates & trophies for the winners of all sort of competitions, nobody knew they'd participated in
And the speeches … went on for a couple of hours – social life is hard
When finally we approached the buffet, all the bread under the little finger food had become heavy humid – should have brought a towel
Bobo cruised around, and met friends she hadn’t seen for a long time.

Finally she found the Canadian artist Anne Reymond, who makes trompe l’oeils for interior uses.
(She had just become 'Artist of the Year' so-o-o ..… she also had to make speech )

    Here’s Anne

Trompe l’oeils sort of draw you into the painted picture, don’t you think ??
So when Anne proposed bobo to be her apprentice ….. bobo got a new dream
But has to enter it into the plannings for the year to come before anything can be done about it.
    Bobo's a planning creature
Dreams should be incubated/hibernating for a certain time before they’re let out to fly
    Like magic

I don't suppose your sick bed is quite like this, fire; still, slightly appropriate, be well soon, we all think of you.

    Stevenson, Robert Louis

    The Land of Counterpane

WHEN I was sick and lay a-bed,
I had two pillows at my head,
And all my toys beside me lay
To keep me happy all the day.

And sometimes for an hour or so 5
I watched my leaden soldiers go,
    With different uniforms and drills,
    Among the bed-clothes, through the hills;

And sometimes sent my ships in fleets
All up and down among the sheets; 10
Or brought my trees and houses out,
    And planted cities all about.

I was the giant great and still
    That sits upon the pillow-hill,
And sees before him, dale and plain, 15
    The pleasant land of counterpane.
