    WIFS 27 - September

    It's the end of September!
That means it's time for another WIFS Newsletter!
It's a big one, too! Stuffed with 19 pages
of poetry and prose and all the other good stuff
you've come to expect from WIFS, with
the added bonus of some really
lame headline puns, for which I
    feel so, so ashamed.

We made a mistake on Sam's article.
We've fixed it, and the link below
    contains his full column.

Seems chatty to me, more about writing than the craft of writing. And is there more to writing than lyricism in poetry or prose? No evidence of a range of genres. The cover is admirable.

Good job as usual. Maybe it's a little chatty but it is a newsletter. The media does a great job of putting these newsletters together, especially since most of them actually have real jobs. They do this as a labor of love, so if it seems a little silly to some people, it means a lot to the much of the membership here and it certainly means a lot to me.

I like that photo of yours. Is that little boy related? Playing in leave is a great hobby of mine; I still like to curl up in a nest of leaves and dream in autumn.

Yes, he is my grandson. It was taken last year in Annecy. Actually, I was frightened he was going to fall in the river.

Outstanding! What a beautiful fall color scheme and artwork! You all need to take a bow, because you've earned it.

Woah, thanks for the channel shoutout! Good newsletter, as always.
