Will they let you in at 03-00 in the morning, slightly drunk and bits of Pizza stuck to your fingers, and let you buy wholy inapropriate books?

It seems rather anachronistic for a major corporation such as Amazon to open real stores when nearly every other major corporation with real stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc) is closing them. But I'm not much for shopping in the real world for anything. I like Kindle if I want read a book online. If I really want a book that somehow isn't available digitally I've got prime with free two-day shipping (I expect Amazon really wishes they hadn't sold me Prime, considering I've ordered things as big as futons with the free two day.) If I'm going to a real world bookstore, I'm lucky that I'm in Vermont where good independent bookstores (and even record stores) still exist in most towns. That said, I haven't bought a physical book I don't think in a nearly a decade, and if I did, I'd rather give my money to a small independent store.

I paid £18 for two books new at an independent book store knowing I could get them cheaper on Amazon..used copies...I will use Amazon from now on as I did before, there so much cheaper..end of really.

bought two books the other day at a second hand dealer..been going for 40 years and it's run by a very mild guy who always places the books in a paper brown bag and a sticker to seal it with the shops name and phone on..i always feel like i'm coming out of a dirty book store with my porn mags in a brown bag...
