Thread: I am ...

I am a vast ocean of possibility.

I am the wellspring of life.

    I am darkness.

    I am death.

    Ominous made me think:-

I am the one who comes out of the sun, always preceded by my shadow.

    Then I thought :-

I am the one who walks into the sun, preceded by my shadow.

Now, that really is a bit creepy.

I am the moment before all is lost.

I am the thought which silenced the room.

I would rather be the Dog.

    It takes only,
    A second to meet,
    A moment to know,
    A Lifetime to forget.

I am the echo of words unspoken.

I am the light of a blown out candle.

I am the warmth of an unlit flame.

I am the tears falling from dry eyes.

I am the watcher of the vacant and the listener of the silent.

I am the pang in your chest. I am the longing in your soul. I am the fear in your eyes.

I am the beacon on an island surrounded by an endless barren sea.

I am not what people label me.

    I am my own brand.

I am not a brand, I am individually crafted.

Do you remember 'The Village', Hammy?

"I am not a number, I am a free man".

Probably before your time. I like your sentiment though, hang on to that individuality.

I am ... that old. I even have the complete DVD set. "Who is number one?" We all are. That is the nature of our individuality. That was the underlying concept behind the series, as depicted in the mad final episode. We are free or imprisoned within our own minds as we choose to see it.
