I would like to offer my apologies for such an abhorrent attempt to fill in for Firemagik on the January PiP challenge. I’m as sorry I let you all down as I let myself down.

    Pel,

It is not your fault that no one replied, that rests solely with the individuals. You posted a piece, you posted the info, and critique...You did what you volunteered to do...something not everyone would take the time to do. So thank you for taking time, and stop being so hard on yourself. First time out of the gate is always trial by fire, (if you will excuse the pun)...Occasionally life gets in the way of things. It took me way longer to get around to critiquing than I thought it would simply because I have not been home. I finally got around to it tonight. Kudos on having the guts to post a piece and take time to critique mine. It is appreciated.

And folks, there are still a few days to get a piece in. Refrain, just like the chorus of a favourite song. It is honestly a fun type of poetry to do. No form required, merely the repeat of a line (s) over the course of the piece.

Come on folks, we only have two entries for this month's Poets in progress challenge. Surely a senryu is not that scary?

When is the deadline for posting revisions?

With no closure on February's challenge and no sign of a new challenge for March, is the Pip going to continue or has interest fizzled out?

I'm going to take this personally and assume it's because I participated for the first time. Emptying a room with social awkwardness is my superpower.

My brother! We share a superpower, then.

I can NOT express to you, the depth of my regret that this happened to you.... please forgive me... I am so sorry. I could explain the chaos in my life right now, but that would not make you feel less wounded...

LOL, no. We haven't corresponded much before so you aren't familiar with my constant level of sarcasm. My comment was entirely tongue-in-cheek and I was not at all upset.

Life has to come first. Cheers!

Omg! I thought they threw that mold out when they made me. Fire, please take care of yourself. I’d be honored to fill in for you for as long as needed.
