    Remorse (Language Disclaimer)

Because the nights become days, and the day become weeks, and the weeks become months,
    and I can't say enough,
How sorry I am, but you don't understand.
    Just how lonely I've been.

The postcards and the souvenirs, yeah they don't really cut it,
The best thing for you to do right now is to forget about it.
Because it seemed like a good idea at the time,
But now I'm cold, I'm lonely, tired and without a dime,
Sometimes I think about the perfect life we had,
But I broke bad, I screwed it up, and quite frankly I'm just sad.

Because the nights become days, and the days become weeks, and the weeks become months,
    and I can't say enough,
How sorry I am, but you don't understand,
    Just how lonely I've been.

    And I don't know where I am,
But I'm sure its somewhere far away from you.
Long distance sucks, I think I'm fucked,
Cause you don't really care. So I'm just stuck here waiting and dealing with the nightmares
    Of not seeing you again.

Because the nights become days, and the days become weeks, and the weeks become months,
    and I can't say enough,
How sorry I am, but you don't understand,
    Just how lonely I've been.

I can't take it anymore, I'm washed up on the shore.
So I go back. (So I go back!)
And I see your house, and I see your blouse,
    I see your smiling face.

K...not my best work, but hey, I'm tired and inspired. This is like rock/punk with a really aggressive drum line during the chorus. I'd appreciate your feedback!

    Aww it's so sweet!

However, the rhyming seems off, it varies from verse to verse.

Yeah, I know. That was a challenge for me. I got this sweet idea for a chorus (Because the nights become days, and the day become weeks, and the weeks become months,
    and I can't say enough,
How sorry I am, but you don't understand,) the other day, but I found it hard to follow up on it.
