    He was the sort of man ...

    So then, you tell us the sort of man he was, for example,

    “He was the sort of man who expected women to have their own thread, though he would welcome them as guests in his.”

    Or, more simply,

    “He was the sort of man I hate”

    So go on , tell us, what sort of man was he?

    Edit, I have been asked 'Why is it all put on men?' There was at one time a 'She was the sort of woman...' thread, but it was little used and died, I suggested women could be included in this thread and we change the title, which was eagerly agreed with, so I am going to ask if it can become
