Hello Friends!

How is the rewrite going? Well, since you askedÖ Itís not. Itís horrible! Not how I had planned the week at all! Without boring you with the details, letís just say I became very busy after my last blog post and that, folks, is that. In the evenings, too? Yes, in the evenings, too. (Sigh.) Not to mention one very exciting trip to a very interesting junk store that sparked more of an interest in writing horror than fantasy. It was literally falling down; I could see trees through the missing back wall!

But, for every grey cloud, there is a silver lining. Here is the silver lining: I found my original manuscript. Upon finding it, my first thought was, Ďwhatís this?í I forgot that the hard copy begins last page first because thatís how I kept it organized while transcribing it into the computer. (Advice to new writers: donít write longhand unless youíre willing to commit 3-4 months of transcribing what you have written in very small print [and cursive!] onto the computer. I found it to be a very time consuming and tedious task. Butóand hereís this silver liningóit really made me realize to what extent what I had written wasnít readable cover-to-cover and why it needed to be rewritten.)

So, this week I am blocking out time for this.

Until the next blogpost!

Megan
