Banned from writingforums.org for posting some copyrighted shit without attribution. Never mind that I added attribution immediately when that was brought to my attention, or that the author in question was in the fucking thread.

Every one of these websites is a fucking joke. I left here because no one actually looks at anything; when you do get a response, it's some form letter shit basically telling you, "git gud, bra," and it looks as though I'll be leaving there because the admin staff literally just don't fucking want me there. I can't figure where a writer is supposed to go these days to get honest feedback. Certainly not to any place that talks about building a community of writers or providing one another with honest feedback.

I'm fucking pissed. I'm sure this post will get me banned here, too, but I'm just too fucking pissed off to give a shit. Why would I give a shit? I don't get anything out of either of these places except a load of frustration anyway.

Your negative thought will dissipate on the matter you spoke at hand after some time. Sometimes we need a break from emotions when they are toughest. Like a sick parent, or something bad. I imagine the best way to deal with it is not think about it, and look to rest (stay away for days for anything emotionally exhausting for days). The mind is a body and organ for resting. Too much stress and it takes the person, and they might do things they might not think otherwise. Hamlet when I enjoyed reading it supposedly had a character of indecision. Best of luck here. I can tell you the staff is very nice towards others.

To play Devil's advocate, I don't particularly like the staff there, either. They let a gaggle of women with no moderator or administrator status run amok and role-play as vigilantes, ganging up on anybody who dare oppose one of their flock. Such courtesy is not extended to any others.

People play favorites. It is what it is. I got most of them to block me for my "wrong-think" and now I can participate in peace, rather than wait for the nearing sound of the volunteer virtue-signalers galloping in on their high-horses. From time to time I still can't resist the urge to mention that it's ironic the bi-sexuals and homosexuals want to be treated equally, but some of the ones on there loathe anybody who tells them that circle-jerking and slapping each other on the ass all the time for being different is humorously ironic.

I normally stay away from The Debate forums on there, and yet I can't help but join in from time to time. Numerous people have expressed their agreement with me *strictly* privately, and that's enough evidence for me that people don't feel welcome by the "popular" members unless they bow down and treat gay people like they're special. I apologize that gay people are just people to me.

And God forbid you critique some of these same people... Well, most of them don't seem to post much for critique, and I can't say I'm surprised.

Anyway. Sorry your experience here hasn't been better. I've looked at some of the feedback you've received and (for the most part) don't see anything wrong with it. What exactly is it that you're looking for?

Archer, I tried the other site as well. RMBrown over there you commented on some of my work and we spoke back and forth. I was disgusted with this site at one time but came back with the idea of trying to help than leave or just complain. You're a good writer and a good person from what I have experienced and it would be good to have you back here and active again....Bob

Your here to share your creative side and get something back just like the rest...sometimes it connects an not but ultimately you require input positive an negative to feel your moving somewhere

    Gaggle of women... Oh smith.
Um.. You sound emotional and...caught up. As a presumable male ( no offense or nothin' it is Internet, right?) that's not a good state for any male, period. Nothing good comes of it. As far expectations, those are yours. Not going to candy-wrap it for you...and I don't know those other sites ( been there, barely, for a moment or two- I didn't bother) . Lashing out is a typical male thing. My theory is it's our lack of experience, in the zones you know, in the touchie -feelie zones. ( you get to the second part, and the boner comes...ruins everything ) we seem to only be in the anger zone. So beware of the emotional zone, (because we have no clue) and do not let yourself get caught up in anger- temper, as in temper tantrum. We've all been there and it s not pretty because we're not pretty.
F-it, right? Like the great zen-master , Bill ( Murray ... you seriously have to ask?) in one his movies: it just doesn't matter. I Mantra. Repeat... (from stripes , I think it was) ( it sounds silly, but it prevents heartattacks, seriously...) I mean, what's the worst? And, get some perspective. There's starving people and all. And your not one of 'em. Get it together. Breath it out and let it go. You have to. Or else.

Smith, you should know better than to talk that way. You sound like a mysogonist. I know you have respect for women, but you should write this kind of stuff with more tact.

    Sorry for highjacking the thread.

If it was a gang of guys, I would've called it a gangbang of guys, or a pack of hounds. Don't take it so personally. Just the reality of the situation. I was talking about a specific gaggle of women, so nobody in good faith can extrapolate my clearly specific description onto how they imagine I feel about all women.

Birds of a feather flock together. Hence why I used the word "gaggle", and the word "flock". And it partly explains the eggshells that are littered everywhere on there.

For the record, you *inadvertently* demonstrate the kind of attitude which permeates that whole community, except you did it with much more reason and zero aggression. Everything on there is offensive to somebody unless you follow the status-quo of acceptable opinion.

I can't say for sure, but I think whining like a child should fix it.

Hi guys just a friendly warning about attacking staff members, they are voluntary and spend their own free time to help keep things civil around the boards and if you have a problem with any staff member then please pm an admin or supervisor.

That being said I would expect the same to happen most online writing forums in regards to copyrighted work, was it your own or someone else's? Do you write prose, if so I would love to be pointed in the right direction where I could offer my own thoughts on it. I would also like to see you become a more active member again. As for anger it accomplishes nothing but provoking more anger in turn, take a breath, calm down and return to look at the problem.

I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about but it doesn't look as though I'm missing anything.
