Good to hear you're alright; doesn't sound like anything too serious happened, fortunately. A guy crushed his finger at my work just yesterday actually, and had to go to the hospital. Don't be that guy.

I wouldn't say that I was particularly preoccupied really. I just trod on a place where the driveway was two inches lower than the path and turned my ankle. I had to go over or break my ankle, I think.

I'm feeling the impact points this morning a bit more. Right shoulder, right wrist, left hip, but at least the gash on my left hand isn't bleeding. Will be OK for tentative work with my left hand well covered.

It's one of those times that I'm only going to work because I'm self-employed - a great cure for many maladies. If it had been an accident at work as an employee, I probably would have taken a couple of days to recover better. I ought to really but finances are too tight.

We seem to have gone way off track from my original post. Perhaps it's time to wind this one down - especially as it seems to be entering pre-debate mode

I'd say "God help us all," but an Atheist would get offended.

    So:

"Non-denominational quasi-spiritual being that may or may not exist and loves every living thing because He / She / It is non-judgemental... please help us?"

Royal Families are like religions because they kill people by the bucket load......better of with your money class hitting the top spot because even if average joe gets a shot at the title he still messes up...the little red book brigade....as Lincon put it....

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.

I wouldn't be opposed to having an official King and Queen again. We basically have royal families here now in the states anyways but nobody seems to have a problem with it. I say we relive the golden days when the sun never set on the British Empire.

Well, yeah, I agree. It's been rigged ever since Bernie lost the nomination. Hillary doesn't have to worry about winning because that's long been decided by the "great" American populace, and with the assistance of Saudi Arabia, the Clinton Foundation, "interesting" vote-counting, and the completely "unbiased" mainstream media organizations.

You know, if the world is basically governed by the 1%, it can't be that hard for a few radical, highly-trained ex-ops agents to take them out. Not saying they should -- I know you're watching me NSA. Just saying.

I think he was false competition from the beginning.

Contrary to popular belief, politicians are not stupid.

Oh, well on that we do agree. The lesser-of-two-evils is a false dichotomy. Truth be told, there are better candidates, but the game is rigged as of now.

Donald Trump is an egolitarian, and Hillary Clinton is a criminalitarian.

Rather have the guy with the ego.

I am told there are not many gray haired guys doing this, in the last event there in Barre Mass they had over 2000 people "men and women" enter the competition over two days. I figuring that turn out will not be as high as this one is a 10 mile race and the other was only a 4 mile race. My daughter Cathy will be running with me, she has dropped down a class from the pro class to the open competition class to run with me and help me through the obstacles, some are technical and tough. She is using it as a training tool for her next event which is a 16 mile race, she has decided to add 6 pounds to her back pack to make it a work out for her. My kids show no shame in trying to make me look bad :}
No, you should be grateful to have such wonderful kids! Good luck with your race, and remember; it's not important to win, but to participate

Sorry for kidnapping your thread, Phil! <3
