  1. Veeeenice - Part Cinque

The last part of Venetian odyssey....

One of the realities in Venice are floods.

    So much floods.

"Dang, where I'll park my BMW now?"

    Last view before we go...

So long Venice, nice to meet ya!

  2. Veeeenice - Part Quattro

Okay, I might miscalculated myself (hey, I didn't go to a first grade two times for nothing), and this blog will have five parts. Oops.

They're watching you. They know if you are sleeping, they know if you're awake...

    You're outnumbered.

    "The Birds", Venetian edition.

    Venetian ...
  3. Veeeenice - Part Tre

...Verona's not the only city with love lockets.

Lion again. And a lot more of 'em coming.

Just like at that that relief. Such details.

This is probably what impressed me the most.

I can just imagine Venetian Michelangelo crying:"My ...
  4. Veeeenice - Part Due

Okay, so another thing never to do in Venice are - suitcases! Venice is known to have a lot of bridges, and - don't get fooled - they're all stairy, meaning you'll have to drag you suitcases all over those stairs. And it ain't a pretty sight! We saw a guy with two big pieces of luggage. Poor man.

A dead end. Venice streets might look all lovey-dovey but it's pretty easy to get lost. Our cell GPS took us all left and right, then made us do hokey-pokey... But I guess, it's part of ...
  5. Veeeenice - Part Uno

Yes, yes, I said I'll never post on this blog ever again - but you deserve it. Venice (not the one in the US) will come in 4 parts, yes FOUR, because you can post only 10 pics at the time, and they're all so pwetty...

    Leeet's begin...

You're here - your dreams came true; you're in Venice, baby!

    Feast your eyes upon thee

    So, what ...

  6. Rome wasn't built in a day... Part II/I

Okay, in case if you're wondering, I had to split up blogs into two parts, because:

    1) some pics didn't work, so I had to fix 'em

    2) when I did, it wouldn't allow me to post because the limit is 10 pics per post (and I had to delete some - one thing for sure is - I will NEVER ever post pics in a blog; it's not worth of my time and nerves, giving me unnecessary stress.

    So, we continue...

    Another castle?

  7. Rome wasn't built in a day... Part II/II

...wow, that was a long post. At least now I know what's the limit on this one.

    Anyway, we're continuing our journey...

    Fairytale? No, San Marino.

    Beauty is everywhere...

    Where do you wanna go?

    Open Sesame!

  8. Rome wasn't built in a day... Part II

Along came another day... Special day spent in San Marino! Little country surrounded by Italy (totally independent), with 32 and a half thousand residents, and 61.2 km2 or 24 sq mi, is truly the third smallest country in the world!

San Marino claims to be the oldest surviving sovereign state and constitutional republic in the world, and it might even be true since their dependence (from the Roman Empire) goes back to the early year of 301, and their Constitution is dated back to 1600! ...

  9. Rome wasn't built in a day...

...neither will I describe my journey in a single post.

    Benvenutti a tutti! Ciao Italia!

    Okay, enough of silly talk

They say it's best to start at the beginning. So, let's start.

    Wow, not that far!

    That's more like it.

    So, we're cruising the highway...
