Veeeenice - Part Uno

Yes, yes, I said I'll never post on this blog ever again - but you deserve it. Venice (not the one in the US) will come in 4 parts, yes FOUR, because you can post only 10 pics at the time, and they're all so pwetty...

Leeet's begin...

You're here - your dreams came true; you're in Venice, baby!

So, what do I think of Venice? Well...

...Venice stinks. Literally. Imagine your worst sewer on a hot, humid day and double it. Maybe triple it. Yep, it's an old stinkaroo, but, luckily, the stink does not follow you once you move from the canals.

Another thing to look after are the pick pocketers. I wore a sort of pouch bag under my T-shirt, and kept there our valuables like documents and money. Be sure to make copies of your credit cards, your ID's, and passports, and leave the originals in the hotel, or wear them with you in the pouch bag. Nothing can ruin a trip like being mugged, and you won't even notice! We didn't give the thieves that pleasure as I watched at my over-the-shoulder-bag like a hawk. Doesn't mean you should be over stressed or worried about that, just cautionary. What's the point of vacation if you're not relaxed?

On our journey we met Pepé, our dear friend,

don't know what's the deal with the grass, maybe he suffered from jet lag. Pigeons. You never know with them.

"Real" Venice

"Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads." Ta ta ta ta ra ra ta ta... Okay, it's not "Back to the Future", but close enough! You might consider a water taxi for exploring the canals.
