Random Musings

This being my first blog post here, I find I'm not sure what exactly to write. I should update all my website blogs; I'm notoriously bad at that. I used to be much more diligent at it back when I had my very first website called DreamWind Whispers. Created it all by my lonesome with help from my instructors at LVSonline which is now, sadly, gone. But, with their $10 HTML course under my belt I ventured forth!

By standards of today, the site was crude, but at the time all my visitors thought it pretty well done. Times change. I don't code anything myself anymore. Not on such a grand scale anyway. I use WordPress and a premium theme that meets my needs for all I do.

I no longer have that site, but I sometimes wish I hadn't abandoned it. I'd resurrect it, but with six sites now and all my worlds wanted to be created or be finished, I figure just let it go.

I have two sites for my romance me - Neenah Davis-Wilson. NovelsByNeenah and the classic NeenahDavisWilson.com author site. Why two? Well last year when I was focused on creating videos, I forgot to renew my domain name. Or rather go and update payment method as my credit card number had changed. Lost NovelsByNeenah for a few months. Frantic, I bought my pen name, but somehow it just wasn't the same. It sort of sat there sad and lonely until after I finally got Novels back. So, I think I'll feature my books on Novels, and myself on Neenah. A work in progress. Maybe I'll look for authors to feature there. I know it needs a real draw.

Well, I'll say good night for now. I should head for bed as I have a full day of chasing a Monkey Child - my 5 year old granddaughter, Keira Marie Allyce - ahead of me. Haven't seen her in a month thanks to the flu, so she'll be wanting all my attention solely focused on HER the whole afternoon.

Hope your day was a happy one, and tomorrow even better!

Goodness, Anita, SIX websites to maintain! Respect. I have trouble keeping my personal WordPress blog about life in Portugal updated. That said, managing WF is a full time job...

Hope you had an enjoyable day with your granddaughter :)

Yes, it's a little overwhelming at times. And then there's others on other sites I post to. And now here! But at least here, I know I'm not alone!

Had a great time with my granddaughter! And to make it sweeter, her mother Finally took a picture of the two of us clowning around--first one ever. Was a shocker.

Ha, welcome to the blogs, Anita :)

Thanks Darren! I'm thinking of doing some brainstorming here. Probably post here more than anywhere--including my own websites. :)
