Looky, looky what I got...

Well I know the english has dropped in my title but I am just so excited to share. At the beginning of the month I found out I could possibly get signed bookplates from Robin Hobb and look here they are. They also came with a signed thank you card. So happy right now.:)

As a mere pleb, I must ask: who is Robin Hobb?

And yet, despite not knowing who it is, that was a very lovely thing to do! Wonderful advice and encouragement. Happy for you. :D

Now I know how confused people were when I was excited about meeting Jimmy Eat World... lol

Lol Robin Hobb is responsible for creating the Farseer trilogy along with the Live Ship Traders, Rain Wild Chronicles and now she has returned to the farseer's to continue Fitz's story I would highly recommend to anyone that they read them. She was one of the first high fantasy books that I read and I have never looked back.

For me I getbthat excited for anything to do with books or meeting authors. I have a collection of author advice in the form of dedications however I missed Robin when she last came to England by finding out about her visitbthe day after she came and was gutted so to get these sent in the post was amazing and I thought I would share as always with you all on here.

Oh wow, that's really cool! And thank-you for sharing.

I'll consider checking out her work. I suppose one is never too old for a little YA fantasy, now and again. :p

It's fantatasy for adults not young adults :) I would put her on a level close to Robert Jordan and his wheel of time series. However definatly check her out she is worth it Smith. :)

Oh, oops lol. I was scanning her Wiki and I mistakenly thought she wrote YA, since she was published in children's magazines.

I will definitely check it out then, thanks!
