JFK Files Released

And I feel depressed because I'm wondering if I'm crazy, or people are just really stupid.

Exactly why are we supposed to believe that the government has released anything truthful- especially when it took them decades to reveal information about the assassination of a US President? They had 9/11 figured out before lunch, it seemed, but the President? Give us a minute.

I'm living in a time where I'm supposed to believe in really shady "celebrity snitches" like Snowden and the Wikiweirdo are real when I know that real informants of serious material like Gary Webb don't live very long, or they probably get the crap beat out of them and sent to "re-education" like Chelsea Manning.

What I noticed is that in these huge incidents where the government would be one of the prime suspects (we would have no problem naming the government as a prime suspect if this were another country...) the government is the lead investigator and the sole arbiter of justice. The freakin suspect is conducting the investigation...IN SECRECY. It's freakin mind-blowing.

This all seems very Orwellian kaminoshiyo and maybe our whole existence is teetering on a house of cards. It's a fearful situation but then life is.

Fear not, dither. This isn't a change, it was kinda already like this. We're just more aware of it these days.
