I'm not trying to market Elance, but I'd like to say that website has taken me from a bit of a 'lost writer' stage to a semi-professional content writer. Now I'm coding e-mails into HTML for a man in London.
In the past month or two I've written articles on marketing, happiness, and self-improvement. I've made a bit of financing, but this HTML job I've landed seems to be the steady income I've been searching for.
I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of direction or who just wants to take their writing to a new level. It's challenging and rewarding.
I wrote five 1000-word articles in five days and sold them for $5 a piece. Now this.
When I first started this blog I was writing poetry for pennies. I was excited about the first three cents. It's taken me in a direction IO didn't expect, editing and coding, but I'm not complaining.
And this site has been a benchmark as well as a sort of writing homepage for me. It feels good to look back and see how far I've come in such a short time, but I know happiness is thinly clothed against the elements.
I'm keeping my guard up, I'm motivated, but I can't help but gush a little.
