Chatting with strangers:

A woman has suddenly begun to turn up at his bus-stop in the mornings and she's a bit of a chatterer. Maybe it's just nerves, sitting at a bus-stop at seven in the morning with a complete stranger and let's face it they don't come much stranger than him. And Winter is almost upon us.
It would appear that she has a captive listener but it's not so bad, she's no gasbag and seems pleasant enough. It can't do any harm and due to the unpredictability of his job they don't catch the same bus very often.
There was a time when he wouldn't be the only person at his bus-stop and just as quickly as people appeared they would dis-appear. Jobbers, temping he supposed but more often than not, nowadays, it's just him waiting for the bus in the morning.

So anyway, female at the bus-stop:
Five six, medium build, short cut straight black hair, styled in a way that it curls under her jaws, and a really nice, friendly looking, round face.
Mid to late thirties he would suppose certainly not forty although one can never tell and he's hopeless when it comes to calculating a person's age.

It appears she caught your eye as well as your ear. Just from my POV.

As to the chatter, a quote from Douglas Adams:
"...Ford Prefect first thought that if a human's lips stopped moving, their mouths would freeze up.
Upon further examination, he concluded that if their lips stopped moving, their brains would start working."

Or, perhaps you just make her nervous. Maybe in a good way.

Maybe it was just nice to talk with somebody but yes I liked her, I think.

I think I like that she isn't a moaner.
No bitching about the buses or the weather, politics or the attitudes of people nowadays, just happy to be there. Y'know?

I is a rare thing to have "normal " conversation these days, and worth noting and enjoying.
We must take our wins where we find them.
Some idiot will bring you down with boorish negativity all too soon. That's life today.

I talk to everyone, I must be that guy no one wants to sit next on the plane... I kind of doubt it, very rare for me not to have someone smiling and laughing with in just a few moments. I look at them and figure out what interests them and that is what we talk about. I love reading people by their expressions what and how they dress and by what they are carrying.
