Bad hair day

Lucky you...I had to listen to..I live in an ex council house an hate the sun because everyone's out n about but he prefers the rain so he can sit in the garden alone...an to top it the best thing about the heatwave he doesn't have to put the heating on..he is unbelievable

I love grotesque characters! If you can get yourself into David Attenborough mode you can enjoy folk like this as interesting subjects for observation and their antics can become quite entertaining.

My dad used to talk about a similar guy to your barber - he was so miserable and turned every joy into a chance to moan. One lovely, warm, early summer day, Dad saw him coming along the road and called out cheerily, "It's a beautiful morning, Charlie!"

Charlie glared back at him and snarled, "You're getting your bloody share of it, ain't yer!"

That anecdote kept us amused for years. Go back to that barber and take notes - you could get a great short story out of it. :)

Over the years an recently in a pub the barman said you look deep in thought...world on shoulders stuff an it anoys me...I'm no people person but I don't think I'm a miserable git either

That's nothing, when I'm deep in thought people usually say, "Cheer up! It might never happen." Trouble is, my mouth turns downwards when I relax my face - this is the reason I tend to walk around with an idiotic half grin. Thinking about it, I'm not sure which looks worse. :)

Went past shop today with a sign saying..shut for holiday 27th Aug....were would he go...syria

Never say never...went back yesterday an came out miserable an to boot he gave me a crap tidy up job....the old squeezy bottle gave the impression he cut more than I thought so I bought some Jasmin infused hair oil to make it look more manageable an shinny because when it grows so long the salt n pepper hair looks so dry...a trim usually gets the oils flowing but how do you go back an say I'm not happy with yesterday's haircut..now finish it off...well never again I say..
